Tanner Uses Blender for First Time!

Brett and Tanner wanted milkshakes again, so I told Tanner where to find everything and he used a blender for the first time! 

I think that he did an excellent job making his first milkshake!

West Virginia

Here's the Knox boys paddling up the creek in West Virginia this morning. We stayed at a camp site that our friends owned over night. It was really nice and a lot of fun. The creek moves so slow, which makes for great swimming and canoeing.

Steve Azar was the opening act at Pier 6. I only recognized one song, but I thought he sounded really good.

We Stopped in at the Pier 6 Hotel to use the facilities, and found this "skinny" mirror. They had great happy hour specials, so we made our way to the bar for $1.95 appetizers.

Garden

Our garden is looking pretty good. Look at all those bean plants!!
The larger plants in the upper left are the zuchinnis, they are doing great. The tomato plants are at the very top on the fences. They are doing great also. It is hard to see the plants in this photo, but I just thought I'd share.

Back at the farm

After a week at the beach we sure enjoyed our weekend back on our very own 9 acres in MD! We did not get much picking during blackberry season, so we made sure not to miss out on the Raspberries that are now in season. Tanner and Brett picked some, but ate more as they went along the trails. We got a small bowl, I put them in the blender, now we are attempting to strain the juice from the seeds so we can make something later. Maybe blend w/some vanilla ice cream... hmm...

Outer Banks

We survived our camping trip to the Outer Banks. We stayed at Camp Hatteras in Rodanthe, NC. We had a really good time!!

Happy 4th of July

I hope that everyone is enjoying their fourth of July holiday!!
We are packing and getting ready to head down to the outer banks in the morning. I'm really excited!!!!
I don't think we'll be checking out any fireworks tonight, it is raining!!!!!

We did not actually purchase any, but we did have a good laugh at each other!
