Happy Halloween.

Do you believe it? I did not take a picture of Brett in his costume! He wore an X-Men suit. He looked good.
On Sunday Charlie met the family across the street from us. Dave and Val have five kids, the oldest being 7. That sounds like a handful. They invited us to join them and a few other family's in the neighborhood for trick-or-treating. So, we rode the four wheeler up Cardinal drive to Brian and Debbie's house. We knew Brian from baseball. Brian had his tractor all set up to pull a big wagon, so a total of six families loaded up and went for a ride around our loop. It was a lot of fun and it was great to finally meet some more people in the neighborhood. Brett got a ton of candy.
OH... and did you see that shooting star at about 6:30pm? It was awesome!
Check out this article that talks about it:

Halloween Party Fire Pit

The fire pit kept us warm in the 40 degree weather.

Halloween Party Brett

I wish this camera took clearer pictures... This is Brett being silly.

Halloween Party Kids

All the kids piled into a trailor that was being pulled by a four wheeler. This kept the kids entertained for an hour. Brett is in the back, he is up higher than the other kids. To the left is Jeffrey and up front to the right is Brian.

Horses on the loose!

On my way to work this morning I saw four horses walk down their driveway and cross the road. This school bus was in front of me, and we all had to stop while the horses crossed.

You can see one still in the road and two are towards the left near the two trees. Only in Carroll County!
